Summary
Ed Pilkington addressed the controversial possibility of cutting Collective Bargaining for Wisconsin's public sector workers last March. Pilkington stated that in order for the bill to be passed, 20 senators needed to agree and vote for it. However, there were only 19 republicans; thus, all of the republicans needed to agree on it as well as at least one democrat. On a day when this topic was being discussed between these two parties, two thousand protesters gathered outside shouting their disagreement. The governer of Wisconsin addressed the protestors, he counterargued that cutting spending would create hundreds of thousands of new jobs. Several Democrats disagreed with his statement, and claimed it was just a fantastical idea.

Ed Pilkington wanted to inform the citizens of Wisconsin exactly what their representatives were discussing as far as all public sector workers.
Evidence and Support
Pilkington prestents figures and facts as to how many protestors were crowding around the building and how many senators needed to agree on the bill for collective bargaining to help support his article.
Fallacies/Biases
Because this article doesn't take a personal stance on this issue, Pilkington stays strictly factual and bases his article on easy to prove facts.
Response
This article was not sufficient because it never stated exactly what  collective bargaining is. Pilkington should have established exactly what his topic was before he began writing about it.
Good Topic For Me?
I don't feel that this is a good topic for me to write about because I'm still unsure as to what collective bargaining is, I only have a vague idea. In order for me to elaborate on this topic I would need much more information and a much more informational article. Also, I have no emotional attachment to this topic; thus, writing about it would be boring for me to write and boring for my audience to read.
Good Topic For Others?
Potentially, this topic could be interesting for someone who has more knowledge on the topic. However, this particular topic doesn't seem like something many of my classmates would find interesting to write about.
